Club Closed 11th December 2017

Due to adverse weather conditions and to ensure the safety of club members and helpers, The Fourteen Club will be closed on Monday 11th December 2017. We apologise for any inconvinence this may cause.

Sainsburys Fund Raising

On Saturday 26 November volunteers and members had a bucket shake in Sainsbury's to raise funds for the club to pay for items such as our insurance, prizes for bingo, entertainers and the discos/parties. We raised over �400 which is an amazing amount. Thank you to everyone who kindly donated.

Summer Outing

Longleat logo The Fourteen Club had it's Summer outing on 10 June and this year it was a trip to Longleat. A great day out was had by everyone and the highlights were the animals (of course), the boat ride to see the gorilla and sea lions, the train and the gift shop! A big thank you to everyone who came along and helped.

Christmas Draw

Santa PictureThe Fourteen Club Christmas Draw was made at Fitzwaryn School on Monday 7th December 2009. The lucky winner of the first prize of �150 went to B Shorter of Stanford-in-the-Vale. A very big 'thank you' to everyone who bought or sold tickets for us. Thanks to you we made a profit of �907.

Burnt Burger False Alarm Gets Club New Barbecue

Celebrating 35 Years

The 14 Club recently hosted a party to celebrate 35th years with MP Ed Vaizey, Mayor of Wantage and Major of Grove attending as special guests. A press release can be downloaded below:

Decorated Boxes

On Monday 18th June 2009 14 Club had a craft night where members decorated boxes with greetings cards. The members worked really hard and many wished to have their boxes photographed for the website. Full story...

Christmas Draw

The Fourteen Club Christmas Draw was made at Fitzwaryn School on Monday 8th December 2008. Graham Barton, Rutherford Appleton Laboratory was the lucky winner of the £100 cash. A very big 'thank you' to everyone who bought or sold tickets. The 14 Club benefited from over £700 which is very much appreciated as the Club costs over £4,000 a year to run.

Drivers Wanted

We are in desperate need of volunteers to transport members from their homes to the Club by 7.30pm or home from the Club at 9.30pm or both ways on a local run if preferred. The rota means you would be required about one Monday in four during term time. Please contact Club Chairman and Transport Officer Garry Shand on 01235 764222 if you think you can help us.
